A Pittsburgh woman is behind bars after Pennsylvania State Police say she broke into a home and barricaded herself inside.
According to state police, troopers were called to the 220 block of Corey Avenue in Braddock around 10:47 a.m. for a report of a domestic incident.
Authorities said Samantha Abram, 39, entered the home through a broken window and struck a victim in the head with a closed fist.
State police said Abram damaged several items inside the home.
As she tried to talk to Abram, she ran back into the house and barricaded herself inside, leaving the children outside.
Officers were able to enter the home when the homeowner arrived. They found Abram hiding in the basement in a plastic bin.
Abram was arrested and is being held in the Allegheny County Jail.
