A Saturday afternoon crash involving a vehicle and several motorcycles on Highway 39 between Aurora and Mt. Vernon has killed four people and injured several others.
Preliminary information from the Missouri State Highway Patrol indicates that four people died; three were seriously injured and airlifted.
Three others were taken by ambulance.
The scene was answered by several rescuers.
