There were reports prior to the offseason that suggested Paul was going to be shopped this offseason. With all the speculation, it is now official that Paul has been waived.

During his career with the Suns, Paul has helped lead them to an NBA Finals and helped build the culture into a winning organization. Now with new owner Mat Ishbia at the helm, it looks like Ishbia has a whole new squad to tackle next season.

There have also been reports that the Suns would be interested in free agents Kyrie Irving and Fred VanVleet in the offseason. Even with Scoot Henderson possibly drafted by the Hornets, a guard like Terry Rozier could also make sense for the Suns.
