The Ministry of Mines and Energy of the Republic of Serbia published today (Wednesday, June 14, 2023) the public call for auctions for the award of market premiums (in the form of CfD) for wind and solar projects.
According to a previous announcement, the total share of premiums amounts to 400 MW for wind power plants and 50 MW for solar plants. The maximum price is set at 105 EUR/MWh for wind and 90 EUR/MWh for solar plants. The fixed percentage balance that the winning projects will pay to EPS is set at 5.81% of the maximum price for wind and 2.65% for solar plants. Bidders must also take into account the obligation to secure a bond for soil restoration after the end of the plant’s life cycle.
The auctions are organized digitally and are conducted through the oieaukcije.mre.gov.rs website, where the instructions and the public call to apply for the auctions are also published. Applications are submitted through the above website for a period of 60 days from today i.e. till 14th August 2023.
