ORLANDO, Fla. — Tropical Depression #4 has now become Tropical Storm Cindy, Channel 9 Certified Meteorologist Rusty McCranie said.
This is the first time we’ve had two named storms so far apart in the southern and eastern Atlantic, according to McCranie.

Cindy is expected to track northwest of the islands and lose strength as it remains east of the Bahamas. He doesn’t seem to be a threat to us, McCranie said.
