At approximately 7 a.m. this morning, July 6, emergency services responded to the area of Page Green Road and Blodgett Mills Road for a motorcycle accident.
Reports on X101 News say the motorcycle had hit a lawnmower with the motorcycle rider thrown from the bike. Cortlandville Fire, TLC and Cortland County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to the scene.
A helicopter was initially requested but was canceled as the driver was said to have died when emergency services arrived.
Page Green Road remains closed between Starr Road, Ely Road and Blodgett Mills Road while the investigation continues.
