PHOENIX (3TV/CBS 5) – An AMBER Alert has been issued Wednesday for a 5-day-old baby after his mother reportedly took him from a Phoenix hospital in a bag. The boy, known only as Baby Santana, was last seen at Valleywise Health Medical Center at Roosevelt and 24th streets around 11:45 a.m., police said.

Police said his mother, Rosa Santana, 24, put him in a duffel bag and left the hospital. Law enforcement is very concerned as the newborn had a feeding tube attached to him and needs life-saving medical treatment.

Rosa is 5 feet 2 inches tall, 115 pounds, and has brown hair with brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a dark shirt, dark pants and a black duffel bag. The public is encouraged to contact 911 with any information.
