2 dead in early morning house fire in York

The York County Coroner’s Office said two people died in a house fire this morning in York City. The coroner’s office did not say who the victims were, but the York fire chief previously told WGAL that three people, including two children, had been taken into custody. at York Hospital. The fire broke out in a house on Company Street between North West and Manchester Streets around 4 in the morning. According to the fire chief, the fire started on the second floor and spread to the third, causing significant damage to both floors. It’s not yet. clear what caused the fire.
