VALLEY CITY, ND (NewsDakota.com) – A man’s body was recovered from the Sheyenne River along the 1000 block of Riverview Drive in Valley City on Monday, July 17th. Emergency responders received the call for service around 12:08 p.m.
Valley City Police Chief Phil Hatcher said at this time we are unable to identify the remains and are seeking the public’s help.
The man is described as a white male, 30 to 40 years old, short dark hair, beard, 5’8″ to 5’10” tall, weighing 200 pounds. The man was wearing only jeans blues and socks
He said foul play is not suspected, the body will be sent to the state medical examiner for an autopsy.
