RIDGEFIELD, New Jersey (WABC) — A teenager has died after crashing into a New Jersey restaurant.
Police say 19-year-old Yusuf Bakmaz was speeding down Broad Street in Ridgefield last Friday night when he crossed the center block, Bakmaz hit another vehicle and a stoplight before crashing into the Karden restaurant.
Police say Bakmaz’s girlfriend was a passenger in the car.
There was moderate damage to the exterior of the restaurant.
He suffered minor injuries.
