From the Florida Highway Patrol Florida Highway Patrol troopers responded to a crash that occurred today at Ocoee Apopka Road and Demastus Lane in Ocoee. Two pedestrians were injured and taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center. After the collision, the driver and passenger of the hit vehicle fled the scene on foot and were taken into custody by an Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputy. MIDDLEBOROUGH, Mass. — Police have charged eight more suspects, two 19-year-olds and six juveniles, in connection with a triple stabbing in June that left three other teenagers injured, one seriously. Two 19-year-old Middleborough teenagers, Matthew Brow and Alaiis Barrows, were charged with assault and battery, Middleborough Police Chief Joseph Perkins said Wednesday. Six juveniles, four males and two females, were also charged with assault and battery, Perkins said. The court date has not yet been set. State fire marshal investigates suspicious fire at Orange Park office park – Action News Jax
ORANGE PARK, Fla. — The Florida State Fire Marshal is investigating a suspicious fire at the River Place Office Park on Wells Road. A Salt Lake City appeals hearing officer has denied an appeal by Midwest gas station chain Kum & Go, which has been trying to get approval to build a gas station on private land immediately to the north -west of Sugar House Park. WORCESTER – City officials closed Shore Park Beach and Coes Pond Beach Wednesday because of high levels of E. coli bacteria. The beaches will remain closed until additional lab tests indicate acceptable levels of bacteria, city officials said in a statement Wednesday. E. coli can pose a health risk to swimmers and can cause acute gastrointestinal and other illnesses, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
