PITTSBURGH – Pittsburgh police say a man is dead after a vehicle crashed into a tree in the Strip District. Allegheny County dispatchers said police, fire and EMS were called to Frank Curto Park on Bigelow Blvd. around 4:17 p.m Medical examiners identified the victim as Lonnie J. Police have made an arrest in a double homicide Thursday morning at a west Phoenix hotel. Sgt. Melissa Soliz of the Phoenix Police Department confirmed Saturday morning that an arrest had been made in the fatal shootings of two unidentified men at a hotel near 48th Avenue and McDowell Road.
