Twin sisters Nicole Humphries and Samantha Humphries have had impactful pieces and changed the game for the Flower Mound distance program. The two entered high school in 2021 and have been leaders on the Texas running back scene ever since.
Now, they have verbally committed to continue their student-athlete journey and hope to make the same impact at the NCAA level in the University of Oregon.
The two Jaguar runners have helped Flower Mound win three UIL 6A cross country team titles, as well as one in track and field. With a range from the 800m through cross country, the twins are two of the most versatile runners in the state of Texas and nationally.
Last fall, Nicole won the UIL 6A individual state cross country championship with Samantha not even a hundredth of a second behind the runner-up.
I can’t wait to join this team of women and coaches who inspire me endlessly.
