A teenager died after being struck by a vehicle Tuesday afternoon while riding his bicycle in Greene County, according to the Xenia Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol.
Isaac E. Powers, 15, of Yellow Springs, was riding his bicycle at about 5:10 p.m. west on the bike path near Ellis Park in Miami Twp. when he entered the Pike Trail crosswalk across Polecat Road, but “failed to yield” to oncoming traffic.

He was then struck by a northbound 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier driven by Margie Baldwin, 91, of Springfield, according to the highway patrol.
Powers was pronounced dead at the scene.
Baldwin suffered minor injuries that were treated at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation, the highway patrol said.
